President Uhuru Kenyatta has nominated Philip Kinusu to be the Chairperson of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.<br />He’s nominated Dabar Abdi Maalim, Paul Mwaniki Gachoka, Sophia Lepuchirit and Rose Mghoi Mtambo Macharia as members of the commission which has operated without commissioners for months.<br />The names of the nominees have been forwarded to the National Assembly for consideration.<br />The nominations come following a call to all arms of government and the private sector to join hands in fighting corruption which is becoming endemic in his government.<br />The Head of State was speaking at a press briefing in State House where he was accompanied by private sector representatives, the Judiciary and Parliament.
